The journal of Biospecies Research is an open-access, peer-reviewed and quarterly scientific publication dedicated to disseminating fundamental findings in plant, animal, and microorganism sciences. The journal publishes original research articles across all areas of plant and animal biology and microbiology, including the biological effects of medicinal plants, systematics and ecology, physiology, cellular and developmental biology, and the biology of microorganisms. In addition to fundamental research, the journal also accepts interdisciplinary, applied, and technology-oriented manuscripts within these fields. All submissions are subject to rigorous peer review to ensure scientific quality and relevance.

  • The Journal of Biospecies Research does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, or article processing. There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees. All published articles are freely available under the journal's open-access policy.
  • All manuscripts should be double-spaced in Times New Roman font, size 12 pt, and include line numbers, preferably within the page. All pages should be numbered consecutively in the top right-hand corner. The top, bottom, and side margins should be at least 30 mm.
  • The author must check the manuscript for plagiarism, and a similarity rate of up to 20% is considered acceptable.
  • This journal follows the COPE guidelines on retractions.
  • All articles published in Biospecies Research are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
  • All authors are required to provide a valid ORCID iD at the time of manuscript submission. ORCID iDs must be included for each listed author to ensure accurate author identification and attribution. Submissions that do not include ORCID iDs for all authors may be returned to the authors for completion before entering the peer-review process.
