Aims

Biospecies Research is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in biological sciences, with a particular focus on the biology of plant species, animal species, and microorganisms. The journal aims to provide a comprehensive scientific platform for researchers to investigate the structure, function, diversity, evolution, interactions, and applications of biological organisms at the molecular, cellular, organismal, population, community, and ecosystem levels.

Plant Biology

Advance research on plant species and their biological processes, including systematics and taxonomy, ecology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, biophysics, molecular and cellular biology, developmental biology, evolution, biodiversity, conservation, and plant–environment interactions. The journal also welcomes rigorous research on medicinal and aromatic plants, including their biological activities, bioactive compounds, mechanisms of action, and potential applications.

Animal Biology

Advance research on animal species addressing systematics and taxonomy, ecology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, biophysics, molecular and cellular biology, developmental biology, evolution, biodiversity, conservation, behavior, and animal–environment interactions.

Microbiology

Advance research on microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, and other microbial organisms, covering systematics and taxonomy, ecology, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, biophysics, molecular biology, evolution, biodiversity, microbial interactions, and host–microorganism and microorganism–environment relationships.

Integrative and Interdisciplinary Biology

Promote integrative and interdisciplinary research that connects plant, animal, and microbial biology with molecular biology, biotechnology, environmental sciences, agriculture, biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, computational biology, and other relevant disciplines.

The journal seeks to promote scientifically rigorous research that expands fundamental understanding of living organisms while also contributing to biodiversity conservation, environmental sustainability, biotechnology, agriculture, health, and other applications of biological knowledge.
